As are many of our projects, every inch of this home was designed by Clayton Truesdell, making it a one-of-a-kind original. It is a great example of function being the driving force behind the design. Given that it is a vacation home often used for entertaining large parties of guests, the home is efficiently laid out to include ample interior and exterior entertainment space, a kitchen designed for cooking and serving large meals, along with 6 bedrooms, 3 baths, a mud room for the trappings of lake life, and plenty of storage.
Design
Stylistically, this home recreates the traditional craftsman style bungalows of the 1920’s and 30’s with details from the period including the upper split-grid oversized windows, three panel craftsman style doors and trim, shiplap ceilings, art nouveau patterned tile, and much more- all adorned with a subtle nautical interior design to fit its lakeside location.
